Some say Lisbon are a powerful pulsing band, producing aqua funk straight out of the north sea. In truth we are a set of highly trained performers, who are currently exercising and stretching the boundaries between Samba, Funk, Indie and Blues. With a set collective of upbeat, dancy songs – our gig experience is apparently ‘decent’. We’ve played a variety of gigs around the Newcastle area, including several at the prestigious Cluny in Byker, and more recently the Mouth of the Tyne festival.

Ego Trip - Wales/North East England
Ego trip grew up in Consett, Co. Durham. His family worked for The Salvation Army, where EGO learned how to play brass instruments and also sang in the choir. It wasn’t until EGO turned 16 that he started writing ‘rap’ songs due to his love for the genre and also poetry. He met up with Stu Taylor who was running a local Hip Hop label called Hi Risk Records. It was there that EGO found a home to release his music from. After years of preparation EGO released a series of Free Downloadable albums. The D.E.M.O. Series (Damn, Ego’s Mashing Out) received rave reviews, prompting EGO TRIP to start work on his official debut release “The Establishment LP”.

Liam Brian Bell (born 12th December 1989) is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Consett, County Durham, who is also known by his stage name Aeon.
In August 2011, he birthed his career by taking his hobby public, releasing his début single Distance followed by a popular demand remix featuring Ego Trip, earning him a warm welcome in the local music culture. The following month he released a 6 track EP titled Aeon: Unleashed, gaining 3 of 6 tracks aired upon BBC NE1fm, followed by a guest appearance and live set on the same station.

I first agreed to sing at a charity event in 2011 . The reaction I received was amazing, so I decided to pursue a career in singing.
Since then, I have sung at many events and have just finished recording my first album of swing classics, Long Road To Vegas,which is now avalible to buy.
I am truly enjoying this experience and the support i am receiving from friends and complete strangers. It is amazing!

Poetiks

Poetiks are a collective of artists both from the North East of England and the North West. They consist of Consett emcee Ego Trip and Chester's own Hip Hop duo Prospekt & CeeJay.
With all 3 artists coming from different backgrounds their music is versatile, creative and relevant. They have the ability to compete with the best emcee's in the genre as well as create unique, infectious and innovative songs.
Poetiks have blessed stages all over the UK as their respective acts but now the so called "Super Group of the North" come together to bring the genre what its been missing - lyrics with feeling, belief and most importantly, a message.
Poetiks are currently working on their first collective effort 'Retribution'. A free 10 track LP which will be available on all notable music sites.
